DeMar DeRozan started where he left of from his 52 point performance by knocking down a three pointer within the first 30 seconds. Chicago's Robin Lopez and Lauri Markkanen caused the Raptors troubled early in the 1st quarter, totaling 19 points between the two. With about 30 seconds left, Delon Wright showed a great amount of effort after grabbing two offensive rebounds off of his own missed shots. Wright was fouled on his 3rd attempt at the shot, and he converted the and-1 after getting fouled. Toronto trailed 21-31 after the 1st quarter.
Delon Wright picked up where he left off in the 1st quarter by dropping 12 points. Serge Ibaka pitched in with 8 points and Fred VanVleet had 9 of his own. Around the 5:17 mark in the quarter, Chicago's Justin Holiday converted a rare 4 point-play after he made a three-pointer on which he was fouled. The 2nd quarter was the Raptors highest scoring quarter in the game, but they still trailed by 3 going into halftime. The Raptors were behind 56-59 at the end of the 1st half.
DeMar DeRozan had a monster quarter, scoring 19 points. Toronto was a perfect 9/9 on free throws during the 3rd quarter. Bulls' Forward Lauri Markkanen scored 7 points and grabbed 5 boards, which are impressive numbers for a rookie. Toronto briefly took the lead away from the Bulls, but Justin Holiday tied the game up with seconds left in the quarter. The game was tied 90-90 going into the final period of play.
The Raptors' backcourt of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 16 points in the quarter, which helped seal the game. Bulls' Nikola Mirotic had 11 points in the quarter, but he didn't have enough help from his team to regain the lead. The Raptors defeated the Chicago Bulls 124-115.
